GUANGZHOU, China – XPeng AeroHT, Asia's largest flying car developer, today announced the completion of a $250 million Series B funding round. The capital injection will accelerate R&D, scaled mass production, and commercialization of its electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles.
This follows the company's $150 million Series B1 financing in August 2024, led by Guangzhou-based strategic investors including Guangzhou Development Holdings, Guangzhou Financial Holding Group, and Guangzhou Development District Investment Group. With the latest round, XPeng AeroHT's total disclosed funding since inception exceeds $750 million (approximately ¥5.375 billion).
The company confirmed accelerated progress toward mass production of its modular "Land Aircraft Carrier" system. XPeng AeroHT's flagship production facility – the world's first dedicated eVTOL manufacturing plant – has achieved structural completion and entered equipment commissioning. Scheduled for operational readiness in Q4 2025, the factory will support the Land Aircraft Carrier's planned 2026 commercial delivery timeline.
