The company specializes in developing and manufacturing large, general-purpose uncrewed transport aircraft for regional logistics.
Recently, Weizhi Aerotech (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Weizhi Aerotech") announced the completion of its Pre-A round of funding, which amounted to nearly RMB 100 million. This round of funding was jointly led by Liangxi Science and Innovation Industrial Fund and China Merchants Venture Capital, with existing shareholder Jinshajiang United Capital continuing to participate. It is reported that the funds raised will be used to strengthen the company's R&D headquarters and final assembly production base capabilities, conduct various tests on experimental prototypes, and supplement the team.
Founded in October 2020, Weizhi Aerotech is a cargo drone R&D manufacturer focusing on the development of economical medium to large fixed-wing general unmanned transport aircraft products. The company's self-developed ton-class general unmanned transport aircraft can be widely used in scenarios such as regional aviation logistics, emergency rescue, forest fire prevention, aerial survey, and material delivery. Its core product, the "Macro Yunxiong," is positioned as the "Wuling Hongguang of the sky."
The "Macro Yunxiong" is a large unmanned transport aircraft targeted at the regional aviation cargo transportation market, featuring excellent performance and broad applicability. This aircraft type has a maximum takeoff weight of 1.5 tons and a fuselage volume of 5 cubic meters, accommodating two standard cargo pallets with a standard cargo loading weight of 500 kilograms. Its full-load range reaches 500 kilometers, and the maximum practical altitude of the performance version is 7,000 meters. Its short take-off and landing capability is within 400 meters, suitable for general aviation airports and unpaved surfaces such as secondary and above highways, grasslands, and gravel roads. The Macro Yunxiong is equipped with a self-developed flight control system and a full-system dual-redundancy design to ensure high reliability. It also adopts a fuel power system, combining efficiency and durability.
According to introductions, the "Macro Yunxiong" has successfully completed the first flight test validation mission of a full-size engineering prototype and has achieved the localization and independent controllability of key technologies. It is currently in the final testing stage and advancing the airworthiness certification process, with an anticipated completion of finalization and market entry by the end of 2025.
