GUANGZHOU, China, July 23 – EHang Holdings Limited (Nasdaq: EH) (“EHang”), a global leader in Urban Air Mobility (UAM) technology, today announced a strategic partnership with Minth Group Limited (Stock Code: 00425.HK), a world-leading supplier of automotive exterior trims and body structures. The collaboration will focus on the joint R&D and manufacturing of high-safety airframe systems for EHang’s low-altitude electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, alongside developing tourism demonstration operations. This partnership aims to establish a comprehensive value chain strategic cooperation system and accelerate the industrial application of low-altitude technological achievements.
Under the agreement, the two parties will co-develop airframe systems for low-altitude aircraft. This includes creating customized solutions such as lightweight mass production of cabin interior components and intelligent cockpit human-machine interaction systems, thereby enhancing the core competitiveness of EHang’s eVTOL products. Furthermore, leveraging EHang’s expertise in autonomous aerial vehicle R&D and Minth’s proprietary highly nonlinear dynamic models and multi-objective parametric simulation platforms, the collaboration will advance the development of highly reliable, low-noise, and efficient rotor systems. This joint effort targets breaking through technological barriers in the synergistic optimization of aerodynamic efficiency and operational economy.
Concurrently, EHang and Minth will collaborate to promote “Low-Altitude + Tourism & Culture” demonstration operations to showcase their joint innovations and develop scenario-based services such as eVTOL urban sightseeing. They will establish and operate demonstration bases centered around tourism and culture as a core platform, driving the application and demonstration of low-altitude passenger aircraft within urban air mobility ecosystems.
